The whole grid, and your buildings on it.

The national network, every significant generator and every substation’s published spare capacity, with your assets on top and what each one is generating now.

Headroom

Building by building

Generation sites and substations with published spare capacity across the network areas, refreshed monthly. The answer to EV, heat pumps and a new tenant’s load before the DNO is asked.

Live generation

And where it feeds

Inverter, battery and export-meter data: what the roof is producing, how much is feeding site load, charging, exporting or sleeving to another asset, reconciled to the invoice each month.

Capacity

Paid for, never used

Half-hourly data set against the agreed capacity on the bill. Agreed capacity is charged daily whether or not it is drawn, and it is almost never revisited after design stage.

One plant room: 270 kVA paid for, 15.4 kW ever drawn. Worth £9,554 a year back once a winter check confirms the peak. The check matters — capacity released in summer and needed in January is an expensive mistake, so we measure through a heating season before recommending a reduction.

Large loads and development

The connection decides the next twenty years.

Capacity strategy for large consumers, data centres and development sites, taken at the point where it is still cheap to change.

  1. Connection and capacity strategyWhat the site can get, from where, and what it will cost to get more later if the load grows.
  2. MicrogridsOn-site generation, storage and controls designed as one system rather than three procurements.
  3. Sleeved and corporate PPAsGeneration located where it is viable, contracted to the load that needs it.
  4. Appraisal before commitmentModelled against the actual load profile, not a design-stage assumption that nobody revisited.

Send the site and the load you expect. We will tell you what the network can give you and what it would take to get more.
