Privacy notice
What we collect when you use this website or engage us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
[CONFIRM] need a qualified read before this page
faces the public. Last reviewed 2026-10-21.
Who we are
THE UNIQ COLLECTIVE LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 16986246. We are the controller for the personal data described here. [CONFIRM: registered office address and whether an ICO registration number should appear here.]
What we collect
From this website: the name, email address, company and message you type into the enquiry form, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.
From an engagement: the contact details of the people we work with, and the building, meter, contract and invoice data needed to do the work. That data is about buildings rather than people, but it can include the name of an occupier where a statement is addressed to an individual.
Why we hold it
To reply to an enquiry, to perform a contract with you, and to meet our own legal and accounting obligations. Where we rely on legitimate interests, the interest is running and improving the service you have asked us for.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and infrastructure providers, and the suppliers and market counterparties with whom we act under your authority. Each acts under a written agreement. [CONFIRM: the list of sub-processors to be named here, and that a data processing agreement is in place with each.]
Where it is held
[CONFIRM: hosting regions, and whether any data leaves the UK or EEA. If it does, the transfer mechanism relied on must be named.]
How long we keep it
[CONFIRM: retention periods.] As a working position, enquiry correspondence is kept for a limited period and client service records for the length of the engagement plus the period required for tax and audit. Both need confirming.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to jamie@theuniqco.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
