Whole of market, margin on every line.

You deal with us, we deal with the markets. Four utilities in one tender, tenors of two to five years, and the whole margin written down — the same on every offer we put in front of you.

What is inside a 30p day-rate kilowatt-hour

Wholesale is a third of the price.

The rest is network, policy and margin — which is where management lives, and where a broker rarely looks.

Indicative split of a 30p day rate

Our margin is the whole margin between the supplier’s price and yours, and it is identical on every offer in the comparison. That is what makes a recommendation worth reading: we have nothing to gain from which one you pick.

How a tender runs

Identical terms, or it is not a comparison.

  1. Four utilities, one tenderElectricity, gas, water and heat, assembled from the same consumption data rather than four separate exercises.
  2. Every supplier on the same basisIdentical consumption, credit and payment terms, so the only variable left is price.
  3. A mandate you setTriggers, tranches and end-date stagger agreed in advance. Fixed, flexible or tranche-purchased inside it.
  4. Tenders issue 180 days outNothing rolls to deemed rates because nobody noticed a date.
  5. A recommendation that explains itselfMargin shown on every line, measured against the mandate you set rather than against our preference.
Contract calendar

End dates staggered, on purpose.

A portfolio that renews all at once is a portfolio exposed to one day’s market. We stagger end dates deliberately so no single renewal can set the price for everything, and so there is always a tender in flight to benchmark against.

369 supply contracts are tracked on the platform today, with 84 already past end date and on out-of-contract rates. That last number is the one worth acting on.

For vehicles the market refuses

Counterparty of record.

Offshore-held and thin-credit SPVs get declined outright or priced off a rate card, regardless of the portfolio standing behind them.

From November 2026 we can hold the supply contract in a UK vehicle and stand in front of the client, so the asset is priced on the portfolio rather than on the SPV.

Supply routes

Including the ones that are not a supplier.

Where the load suits it, a direct-from-generator route can strip out charges that a conventional supply contract bundles in. It does not suit every site, and we will say so.

Procurement is executed under your authority through licensed market counterparties. We are not a supplier and do not hold a supply licence; what we hold is the whole-of-market access and the relationship, so that you have one counterparty rather than nine.

Have a contract coming up?

Send the current contract and the last three invoices. We will tell you what the market looks like for that supply and when it should be tendered.
